About Stevie:
At the age of sixteen, Stevie discovered hairdressing, the perfect profession to express her punk-rock aesthetic at the time. For nine years she trained with Atlanta’s top stylists working with a diverse clientele as she cultivated her technical prowess.
In 1994, she moved to Chicago, working as a Stylist, Art Director & Educator, developing innovative curriculum for in-house apprenticeship programs in the city’s top salons, as well as Advanced CE Classes for Illinois Cosmetologists. As mentor and perpetual student, Stevie has worked tirelessly to develop her talents through workshops and classes with Wella, Aveda, Toni & Guy, Bumble and Bumble, Vidal Sassoon, ZGAT & Sharon Blain. Stevie is a Certified Wella Master Expert as well as an Educator for the Wella Design Team.
As a highly regarded Colorist and Stylist, Stevie has an extraordinary sense of how to illuminate a client’s individual beauty. She's that rare stylist who excels at both Color and Cut , and her repertoire ranges from the classic to the avant-garde. Her work has been featured in magazines, such as Allure, Elle, Chicago Bride, Martha Stewart Weddings, Estetica & Beauty Launchpad. She’s also styled actors, dancers, and models in a wide range of venues, including NYFW, Cannes Film Festival, the Academy Awards and fashion/editorial shoots. You can now find her working both sides of the camera, as Stylist and Photographer. For Stevie, hairdressing is no mere profession, it's her passion and joy.
